Coaching and leadership training
Delaware Consulting

The challenge

At Delaware Consulting the interests of both customers and staff are of paramount importance. Entrepreneurship, care, respect, team spirit and commitment are the company's key values. Preaching these values is one thing, but how do you actually put them into practice within a growing organisation which has 450 employees?

The approach

This is one of those questions that is just up Linkpower’s street. Trainer-coach-consultant, Mirya Pollmann, integrated these values within her training courses about coaching leadership. A central theme of these courses is how these values can be expressed in concrete behaviour. Topics such as self-insight, understanding others, openness and respect form a common thread. From this perspective, participants hone their skills as coaches, leaders and also as entrepreneurs.

The training courses are directed at various levels of positions within Delaware Consulting. For instance, the “Coach-the-coach” course is suitable for senior consultants whilst the “Leadership” programme strengthens managers’ leadership qualities and the “Advanced leadership” course is suitable for more experienced managers.

The result

“Our consultants and managers make the difference because of their coaching approach. They create an atmosphere within which they pay attention to customers, their projects and each other,” says partner, Jan Delaere. This training programme supports Delaware Consulting in its ambition to not only be an excellent service provider of IT solutions, but also to be an attractive employer.
